Danielle Rowley MP has asked to meet with developers of a new film and TV studio following a planning application being submitted to Midlothian Council at a new location, this time Saltersgate in Dalkeith.
A drop-in session is being held at Woodburn Primary School, 5 Cousland Road, Dalkeith, EH22 2PS on 31st January 2019 between 4pm – 8pm. Details of the proposals will be presented on public display boards, comments forms will be available to complete and members of the Project Team will be on hand to answer any queries. Comments on the proposals will be requested by 14th February 2019, to allow a further two weeks for comment.
Danielle Rowley MP said: “It’s good news that a new site has been proposed for the major film and TV studio. The prospect of bringing new jobs to Midlothian and a boost to our local economy is most certainly welcome. I have written to the studio’s developers requesting to meet with them regarding the project.”
Plans for the studio can be found on Midlothian Council’s website here.
