Rowley Supporting Scottish Renewables

Danielle Rowley MP raised concerns with the Government on endangering the development of a cutting edge new manufacturing industry with huge export potential, by making new sustainable companies compete with those that are better established.

Ms. Rowley put her question to Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Minister Clare Perry MP at Business Questions on Tuesday 8th January 2019, highlighting innovative local business Artemis as a case in point.

Danielle Rowley MP said: “We are lucky in Midlothian to host world leading new technologies.

“The answer from the Minister was incredibly vague and most disappointing – the Government must do much more to support this work.
