Ms. Rowley was shown round Y2K’s bright and spacious hub on Bogwood Road by youth workers Carol and Lyndsay. The hub is open to young people on Wednesday and Friday nights as a safe space to hang out and have fun with friends.
Y2K’s youth champion Owen met Danielle after the tour, and spoke to Danielle about the number of different projects Y2K has to offer.
Danielle Rowley MP said: “It was fantastic to hear all about the excellent work that Y2K have been doing.
“It’s clear that Y2K are a huge asset to Mayfield and Midlothian, providing support, advice and projects for our young people.
“The great team just completed the Kiltwalk this weekend, so if you have any money to spare please do send it their way!”
